🔐 FixSmart Locksmith & Security – Service Policy

  1. Service Eligibility
    • Customer must be 18+ to request locksmith services.
    • A valid photo ID (Driver’s License, State ID, Passport) is required for:
    • Vehicle unlock
    • House unlock
    • Rekeying
    • Key duplication
    • Lock installation

If no ID is available, the technician may refuse service.

  1. Proof of Ownership Requirement

Before performing any unlock or key service, the customer must show proof they own or live at the location, such as:
• Matching ID with address
• Utility bill
• Lease agreement
• Vehicle registration or insurance card
• Mail with customer’s name
If proof cannot be verified, service will not be provided.

  1. Service Fees
    • Service call fee is non-refundable, even if the customer cancels after the technician arrives.
    • Prices vary depending on distance, time, type of lock, and difficulty.
    • Emergency & after-hours services include additional charges.
  2. Payment Policy

We accept:
• Cash
• Credit/Debit

Payment is due immediately after service is completed.
No service will continue without full payment unless pre-approved.

  1. Damage Liability

Our technicians use professional tools and methods to minimize damage.
However:
• Some locks may require drilling if they are high-security or damaged.
• FixSmart Locksmith & Security is not responsible for:
• Pre-existing lock damage
• Weak door frames
• Electrical issues in smart locks
• Hidden mechanical defects

Customer will be notified before drilling or destructive entry.

  1. Key & Remote Warranty
    • Standard keys: 7-day warranty
    • Car keys/remotes: 30-day warranty
    • No warranty on customer-supplied keys/remotes
    • Lost keys are not covered under warranty
  2. Cancellation Policy
    • If the technician is already on the way or arrives, the service call fee will be charged even if the customer cancels.
    • Same-day appointments may be rescheduled once at no charge.
  3. Safety Policy

Technician may refuse service if:
• The location is unsafe
• Customer is aggressive or intoxicated
• Ownership cannot be verified

  1. Privacy & SMS Consent
    • Your phone number is used only for service updates, quotes, receipts, and booking reminders.
    • We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties.
    • Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging.
