🔑 Fix Smart Locksmith – Service Policy (Locksmith Only)

  1. Service Warranty
    • All labor has a 7-day workmanship warranty.
    • Warranty covers installation defects only (loose screws, misalignment, key not turning because of installation error).
  2. No Warranty on Customer-Provided Parts
    • Any locks, cylinders, keys, fobs, or hardware supplied by the customer are NOT covered.
    • If their part fails, customer pays for labor and replacement.
  3. No Warranty If Lock Is Old, Rusted, or Previously Damaged

Warranty does NOT apply to:
• Rusted or worn locks
• Non-original keys
• Broken internal parts (springs, wafers, tumblers)
• Damage caused by previous locksmiths or DIY repairs
• Car locks that were already sticking, jammed, or worn

  1. Car Key Warranty
    • Aftermarket keys and remotes include a 7-day programming warranty only.
    • If programming fails due to customer’s car issue (battery, BCM, ECU, wiring), labor is still charged.
    • No warranty if the key gets damaged, wet, bent, or lost.
  2. No Refund Policy
    • Once a key is cut, programmed, or a lock is installed, no refunds.
    • Car keys that are ruined due to customer mistakes (washing machine, drops, breakage) are not covered.
  3. Service Call Fees
    • Service call fee is non-refundable and covers technician travel and diagnostics.
    • If customer cancels after technician arrives, service call fee still applies.
  4. Lockout Disclaimer
    • We are not responsible for damage caused by emergency lockouts (house or car).
    • Some locks, vehicles, or security systems may require forced entry.
    • Customer accepts this risk before the service starts.
  5. Customer Responsibility

Customer must:
• Provide accurate lock or vehicle information
• Show valid ID proving ownership for unlocks and keys
• Ensure safe working conditions
• Be present during the service

  1. Payment Terms
    • Full payment is due after service completion.
    • No “pay later,” no exceptions.
  2. Liability Limit

We are not liable for:
• Pre-existing damage
• Electrical issues in cars
• Security system failures
• Problems caused by aftermarket alarm systems or immobilizers
